Things have been a bit crazy here lately. E is thinking about staying in Greeley now that he has a job that he likes that actually pays well. I mentioned that long-distance relationships rarely work and he said that it's not really long distance, only 40 or 50 miles, and that if we're determined enough anything will work.

I'm not as convinced of that as he is.

Then I started looking at some of the real estate there in Greeley and saw that there are tons of old farm houses up for sale.... rent-to-buy, where the home owner carries the financing. Zero down and practically no interest. .. no credit checks... no nothing. So I casually mentioned to E that I might be interested in buying an old farm house down there, fixing it up, then selling it...

His brain went into over-time. Now he's convinced that if he buys a house down there in Greeley that I might consider moving in with him.... Don't ask me where he got that idea. The man needs a check-up from the neck up.... of that I'm convinced.

Anyway, last night I ended up having to go into the call center. My wonderful ISP has had problems the last few days when it comes to internet and phone service. It went down Monday for about 2 hours and last night it was down for about 4. I'm not impressed, especially considering it costs me more to go into the call center than it should. It's too cold for me to ride my bike so late at night, and I'm too cheap to not complain about the price of a cab.

So after 2 hours of ranting, raving, and complaining to several different supervisors, my ISP has decided they're going to credit me some time for my 'inconvience'.

In other news, this week is only a 3 day work week for me. This new bid has given me the shift that I want (Friday and Saturday nights off) so I'm happy in that regard. It'll be nice to have the 'crazy' nights off again and this way I can spend more time with G. I've really missed our giggle-time together.
